Dr. Robert Kiyosaki, a financial analyst and  the author of the New York Times best-seller, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”  and “Conspiracy of the Rich,” illustrated the Cash Flow Quadrant which shows the four ways on how to earn money which may lead to one’s Sccess:

Through this quadrant, our eyes are being opened to the reality that people on the left side of the quadrant works eight (8) hours a day or forty (40) hours a week, or more for overtime.  Employees have to adjust with their boss and colleagues, and will never own the company he/ she works for, even if he/ she stays there for a lifetime.  The Self-Employed are business owners of small enterprise without a system.  They are earning if they stay in their shop full time.  Professionals are doctors, attorneys, and other persons who practice their profession.  They too earn money based on the time they are spending for work. They are called the no-work, no- pay earners. People on the left side are active earners  they exchange their time for money.  People on the right side on the other hand are passive earners they let their money work for them.  They are expanding without spending all their time in their businesses.  The business owner of a chain of restaurants and offers franchising should not be transferring from one place to another, as well as the owner of the franchise account doesn’t have to stay  in the premises of the restaurant  because of the SYSTEM. Investors expand their money by buying stocks and let their money grow without their presence.  While the people on the right side share the 90% of wealth, they only constitute 10% of the population.  The people on the left side however, the 90% of the population, shares the very small remaining amount of wealth that is 10%.  This reality quadrant was not taught to us in school.  They were not shared to us, because our minds were molded to become employees in the future and the work-force of the people on the right side. Success is everyone’s dream.  If we remain to be on the left side of the quadrant, it seems that success is far to reach. Some people on the left side may be near success, but they never reach the financial freedom that people on the right side enjoys.  Being satisfied with one’s present economic condition is a virtue, but we can be more satisfied, if we are the ones who are helping the poor and the less privileged, and is equally virtuous.

 The Opportunity

We have three (3) options on how to move from the leftside to the right side.
